Rivo Works / Rivo Connect
Your server's files, database,
and terminal. Together.
Save a server once, then manage its files, work with its database, and open an SSH terminal from one Windows app.
Version 0.1.11, released 19 October 2026. No account needed.
How it works
One server, four steps, no second login.
- 01
Choose a saved server
Each server is one entry holding its address and its logins.
- 02
Edit a config file
Open its folders, change a file in place, and save it back.
- 03
Inspect a table
Open the database through the same connection and look at the rows.
- 04
Open the terminal
Start an SSH session on the same server. The app signs in for you.
What it supports
The specifics.
Files
SFTP and FTP servers, and S3-compatible buckets (Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2 and others). Browse, upload, download and edit in place, with a transfer queue you can pause and resume.
Database
MariaDB and MySQL, directly or through the server's SSH connection. Browse tables, edit rows, run queries, import .sql and .sql.gz files, and export results as CSV, JSON or SQL.
Terminal
SSH sessions. Commands you have run on a server are remembered for that server and offered again as you type.
Bring your saved servers
Imports saved sessions from the common Windows file-transfer, database and SSH clients, and from your OpenSSH config. One server that appears in several of them becomes a single entry.
FiveM tools
Reads server.cfg to find the server's database. Installs a resource in one go: it takes a snapshot first, uploads the files, runs the resource's SQL, and adds the ensure line, undoing the SQL if it fails. Opens txAdmin through the server's SSH connection.
Security
Your logins are encrypted on your PC.
Two things unlock the vault
A master password you choose and a Secret Key made on your device. Without both, the saved logins can't be read.
It locks itself
After ten minutes without keyboard or mouse input, or when the PC sleeps, the vault locks and its keys are wiped from memory.
Secrets stay out of the interface
The part of the app that draws the screen only sees redacted details. Passwords are added to a connection behind it.
Questions
Recovery, moving PCs, and what leaves your device.
What happens if I forget my master password?
It can’t be reset. The password never leaves your PC and we have no copy, so nobody can unlock the vault without it. You would start a new vault and save your servers again.
What is the Secret Key, and what if I lose it?
It is a second key made on your PC when you create the vault. Windows keeps it for you, so day to day you only type your master password. The app can save an Emergency Kit, a one-page PDF holding the Secret Key; keep it somewhere safe. While you can still unlock the app on this PC you can save the kit again.
How do I move to another PC?
Syncing between PCs is not built yet. Today the vault is a file on the PC where you created it, and a new device asks for the Secret Key once. End-to-end encrypted sync is the next thing planned.
Does any login leave my device?
No. The vault is stored on your PC and is not uploaded. A login is only sent to the server it belongs to, when you connect to it.
Do I need an account?
No. You create a vault on your own PC with a master password. There is nothing to sign up for.
Why does Windows warn me when I run the installer?
The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may ask you to confirm before it runs. Signing is planned.
